SoftArc Teams Up With Teamsoft For Group Messaging Solutions

A combined group messaging solution is the goal of a new alliance between SoftArc (Markham, Ontario) and

Teamsoft (Montreal). The agreement, announced at MacWorld, will combine Teamsoft's TeamAgenda group scheduling software maker with SoftArc's FirstClass Intranet Server (FCIS) software. TeamAgenda offers expanded messaging capabilities for the FCIS product, which offers Internet and World Wide Web integration for smaller businesses and educational institutions. The alliance provides users with "the best cross-platform performance for messaging and scheduling," said Teamsoft president and founder Gilles Fortin.
