ClearStory has launched the latest version of its digital asset management (DAM) offering, Radiant Enterprise Media Server (EMS). Version 2.1 includes integration with IBM DB2 Content Manager, Microsoft SQL Server and additional versions of Oracle 9i.

The company describes EMS 2.1 as a pure J2EE system with robust capabilities for the management of rich media assets--digital video, graphics, multimedia presentations, and compound documents. ClearStory adds that third-generation DAM offers the benefits of low cost of ownership, high scalability, high performance and deployment flexibility. It is available in hosted and licensed configurations and is currently shipping.
