Search with a soul

Vivisimo has developed a free search service, Clusty's Site Search Service, for educational institutions and nonprofit organizations. The new offering provides these groups a free search box and clustered search results in a branded and dedicated search tab at Clusty.com.

Vivisimo reports it developed Clusty's Site Search Service to help resource-strapped Webmasters and organizations provide a high-quality search experience for their visitors, while preserving their site's identity. With Clusty's Site Search Service, a visitor who searches a non-profit or educational institution Web site is directed to a dedicated search tab at Clusty.com. The tab, which highlights the organization's name in red to help maintain brand identity, produces search results clustered in standard Vivisimo fashion, the company reports. Visitors can then navigate results by theme and easily locate information or discover topics that otherwise would be buried in a list of search results.

Clusty Site Search Service is available now for organizations with domains ending in .org, .edu and .net, as well as for school districts with domains that contain "k12" and end in .us. Webmasters can visit here for more information and directions on how to use the free service.
