Samson InfoTech Unveils ImageNavigator

Samson InfoTech (Rego Park, NY) has unveiled ImageNavigator, an imaging application for medium-sized businesses that combines scanning, retrieval, viewing, annotation and storage management. It offers scanning of single or large batches of documents, security at both the document and folder levels, allows unlimited links between folders and specific MIS/accounting system modules, and enables faxing, E-mailing and printing of documents. ImageNavigator uses Samson Capture Transfer Protocol (SCTP), a standards-based interface that sits between ImageNavigator and an organization's MIS/accounting application. Using the application, customers can access both traditional electronic data and imaged documents from the same place. "ImageNavigator is the first imaging system that can be fully and cost-efficiently integrated with your line-of-business applications," said Don Sullivan, Samson InfoTech executive VP and COO. "In mere hours, it can be ready to deliver a full range of functionality that will dramatically improve the productivity of any paper-intensive department or company."
