Putting the “E” in engineering

Sopheon and eFunda have formed a partnership to cross-market their B2B offerings. The agreement will give eFunda’s engineering design clients access to Sopheon’s Intota network of scientific and technical experts. In turn, Intota users will have access to eFunda’s online resource for engineering information.

Sopheon, which merged with Teltech last year, says Intota has evolved from a brick-and-mortal operation to what it claims is now the leading online source of scientific and technical expertise, with recognized experts in more than 33,000 areas of science, technology and business.

eFunda, short for engineering fundamentals, offers a broad spectrum of online references for practicing engineers. The company states its goal is integrating the daily activities of engineers with their R&D related purchases, with an emphasis on the early stage of an R&D project
