Prospera Unveils EC Software

A new EC product for small businesses has been unveiled by Prospera (Malvern, PA). The ezitrade product translates purchase orders, invoices, or other transactions for small- to medium-sized businesses to provide them with EC capabilities. Ezitrade converts the documents into the correct EDI format for each trading partner, delivers it in a secure environment, and returns a confirmation notice to the user. All the user needs is a PC with a web browser, a modem, and Internet access. The software resides on Prospera's servers and is accessed over the Internet; users connect to ezitrade on an as-needed basis. Ezitrade uses

Microsoft BackOffice and Prospera's Visual EDI software. "Ezitrade breaks down the barrier for the small company to begin taking advantage of the electronic commerce technology, while enabling larger companies with existing programs to reach more of their trading partners" said Prospera president Rich Dunbar.
