Pinnacle Micro Signs European Distributor
Its financial woes notwithstanding, Pinnacle Micro (Irvine, CA) is opening doors to its overseas distribution channels with Scandinavian reseller Dennis Bergstrom. Bergstrom will resell Pinnacle's complete line of optical storage products to distribution partners throughout Europe. Bergstrom will handle all European sales and marketing efforts through its distribution channel, including VARs, OEMs, and direct-mail. "We believe that the need for removable storage continues to expand at a rapid rate," said Dennis Bergstrom, company president. "Pinnacle's technology provides the flexible capacity the market demands." The deal is "especially exciting" because of Dennis Bergstrom's reputation in Europe as a leading channel provider, added Stuart Thomas, director of Pinnacle's International Sales department.
