Partnering for personalization

In a deal designed to provide a single-source Web solution, Net Perceptions and Trigent Software have signed an agreement that will permit the integration of Trigent's Web development capabilities with Net Perception's personalized customer offering.

Net Perceptions develops enterprise-class precision merchandising and personalization infrastructure software. Trigent provides software and practices that encompass development, integration and management of Web applications for large enterprises and e-commerce ventures.

Net Perceptions will provide training and support for Trigent's engineers in the Unirws States and India, allowing them to integrate Net Perceptions' personalization software into customers' Web content management systems.

Says Troy Wright, business alliance manager for Net Perceptions, "Trigent came to us because of our existing partnerships and our established leadership in online personalization. Both companies hold the vision that to deliver the fullest value possible to customers requires offering them a full range of integrated applications that achieve their specific goals.”

Says Trigent’s Riaz Ahamed, "The most difficult part of developing an e-business solution is finding a way to integrate multiple tools. Trigent is unique in its knowledge of a wide range of tools, such as content management, e-commerce and application servers. The strategy behind partnering is to develop the ability to offer an end-to-end e-business solution.”

In other Net Perceptions news, Integra will operate and distribute Net Perceptions’ real-time personalization and data analytics software throughout Europe. The agreement is designed to meet the enormous anticipated growth in e-commerce throughout Europe.
