PCPI and Simplify Sign Strategic Agreement

Embedded printer controller developer PCPI (San Diego) has announced a strategic agreement with Simplify Development (Nashua, NH), a network scanning software developer. Under terms of the agreement, PCPI will incorporate Simplify's ShareScan network scanning application, and MailRoom for Windows document imaging application, with its printer controllers. The combination will allow users to annotate and combine paper files with faxes, E-mail files and electronic documents from a MFP or desktop PC. The agreement will help "increase the marketability of our OEM customers' products, while reducing their overall product launch schedule," said Rich Stabile, director of business development for PCPI.
