Optika and CACI combine workflow and process simulation

Optika Imaging Systems (Colorado Springs, CO, http://www.optika.com) and CACI (La Jolla, CA, http://www.caciasl.com) have announced an agreement to integrate Optika's PowerFlow enterprise workflow management system with CACI's process modeling and simulation software. The combination of CACI's business process simulation capabilities with Optika's workflow product suite will give users "the ability to implement change with the confidence that they are minimizing their risk and maximizing their return on investment," said Optika president and CEO Mark Ruport. The solution is expected to be ready for users by the end of this year. "Together, CACI and Optika have bridged the gap between traditional workflow design tools and business process simulation," said CACI Products Company president Joseph Lenz.
