Office information manager

A 32-bit software package designed for the small office/home office has been unveiled by Computhink (Chicago, http://www.computhink.com). The Paperless Office is designed to increase productivity and save time and money by automating document storage, manipulation and retrieval. Compatible with Windows 95 and NT, the software enables users to file, store, retrieve, annotate and distribute more than 100,000 electronically created or paper-based documents of unlimited size or file type.

Using a SQL relational database for image storage, users can acquire documents of any nature via scanner, E-mail, fax or PC file. Document recognition is ensured by an OCR engine, and Visioneer Paperport scanners and other OCR applications are supported
