Novient licenses Autonomy software

Novient has just signed an agreement to license Autonomy’s concept-based technology to help customers automatically categorize, link, and personalize the delivery of unstructured information found in web pages, e-mail and documents.

By integrating with the Autonomy Server, Novient software enables professional services organizations to build and take advantage of a powerful knowledge base that grants immediate and comprehensive access to information, documents and best practices across the entire services organization.

By compiling data from all corporate repositories and third-party sources (such as Internet sites), this module allows organizations to create a portal that promotes knowledge sharing across geographically dispersed project teams and services communities.

Autonomy's software can identify and rank the main concepts within any piece of text, regardless of its language or format.
