Net-It and Novasoft Link up for Intranets

Net-It Software (San Francisco) and Novasoft (Burlington, MA) have agreed to combine Novasoft's document management system with Net-It's intranet technology. Users of Novasoft's EDMS system will be able to share document repositories over corporate intranets using Net-It Central. Using standard Web browsers, knowledge workers throughout the enterprise can gain instant access to documents while preserving security, control and workflow procedures. "With the integration of Net-It Central," said Novasoft CEO Jothy Rosenberg, Novasoft users will be able to "view, print or download documents in their original layout without the document's native application required, enhancing the company's ability to quickly share knowledge across the enterprise." Net-It president and CEO Dennis Ryan agrees, saying that the combined offering will help organizations "leverage their intranets for fast, cost-effective sharing of document-based knowledge."
