Mitek and Adaptive announce new developments

The strategic alliance between Mitek Systems (San Diego,

http://www.miteksys.com) and Adaptive Solutions (Beaverton, OR, http://www.asi.com) formed in October 1996 has resulted in two new developments: The first is the introduction of the companies' joint product, Accelerated QuickStrokes, designed to improve forms processing programs. A faster version of Mitek's QuickStrokes/API, Accelerated QuickStrokes is intended for system integrators, forms processing vendors and service bureaus. The second development is the announcement of an OEM agreement between the two companies. Under the agreement, Adaptive will sell Mitek's intelligent character recognition (ICR) software and Mitek will purchase and distribute $1 million of Adaptive's PCI-XL boards.
