Mita unveils the MIP MFP

) has introduced the MIP-650 6-in-one multifunction peripheral for the small business and SoHo markets. The Multi Task Laser Imaging System combines a 600 DPI laser printer, six-seconds-per-page fax, twain-compliant scanner, copier, PC fax and phone all in one package. Sporting "the world's smallest diameter 16mm imaging drum," the MIP-650 carries an estimated street price of $700. It is "ideal for small office and business desktop users," according to Allen Mahmarian, VP of Mita's Integrated Document Imaging division.
