MedPlus Forms ChartMaxx Subsidiary, Names Executives

MedPlus (Cincinnati) has formed a subsidiary around its flagship ChartMaxx and OptiMaxx patient record and archival systems. To help grow and develop business operations, the ChartMaxx subsidiary has appointed three VPs to handle sales, operations and account management. Bob Kennedy, VP of Sales, was formerly the national sales manager for MedPlus' Data Management division. Kelly McLendon, the new VP of Health Information Management, was formerly the Data Management division's program manager. Dan Wright, formerly director of product development for MedPlus, takes over as VP of Operations at ChartMaxx, where he will manage all operations, including product implementation, interface development, system integration and customer service and support. MedPlus will transfer the ChartMaxx and OptiMaxx product lines to the new healthcare subsidiary by the end of July.
