MTI Number One in RAID Analysis

According to a recent independent market survey by Coopers & Lybrand (New York),

MTI's (Anaheim, CA) tops the charts for open RAID storage systems. MTI's Gladiator beat out products from CLARiiON (Southboro, MA), EMC (Hopkinton, MA), and Sun Microsystems (Mountain View, CA). The goal of the analysis was to compare RAID systems in order to provide a buying tool for prospective RAID customers. MTI's Gladiator performed with a bandwidth of 1280 megabytes per second­"double that of its nearest competitor," according to the survey.
