Logical integration

Telelogic has integrated three of its core products: CM Synergy, a tool for managing change within the application development life cycle; ChangeSynergy, change request management software; and Doors, a requirements management tool.

The product integration is part of Telelogic's strategy to develop automated capabilities to manage the entire software and systems product life cycle, from requirements to delivery, the company says. It adds that the move toward automation provides a platform that enhances communication, visibility and accessibility, enabling the developer/engineer to spend more time creating code instead of completing manual tasks.

Synergy/Doors Integration 2.0 provides users with the following change management functionality:

  • traceability--from requirements, to design, to development tasks and source objects;

  • impact analysis of requirement change on implemented design and code;

  • validation of completion;

  • linkage of requirements, change requests, development tasks and code changes; and

  • real-time visibility into the status of requirements across theorganization.

    Synergy/Doors Integration is available on Windows 98/2000/NT 4.0 platforms. It requires DOORS 5.1 or 5.2, CM Synergy 6.1 and ChangeSynergy 4.0 with Service Pack 1.
