Lava and CMG Join Forces for European Financial Services
In a move to increase its presence in financial services, Lava Systems (Toronto) has signed an agreement with UK-based CMG plc to provide information management solutions to the European financial services market. Lava will combine its document management, image processing and workflow solutions with CMG's direct insurance line of business applications. The combination will provide a single point of access for enterprise information including claims processing, document management, case management and information repository management from multiple hosts and databases. The two companies have already collaborated to provide solutions for Eagle Star Insurance. The agreement is the first step in an ongoing relationship, according to Lava senior VP Robert Terry, that will help both companies target financial services organizations worldwide.
