Lason Acquires Litigation Solutions

Lason (Troy, MI) has completed its acquisition of Litigation Solutions

, a Chicago-based document management services provider for the legal marketplace. Terms of the acquisition, which included a combination of cash and restricted shares of Lason common stock, were not disclosed. Litigation Solutions president Robert Dowling will remain in place and will be operationally aligned with Lason's litigation support business. The acquisition expands Lason's reach in litigation services and the legal marketplace, and gives the company "a tremendous platform for growth in this major metropolitan market," said Lason president and CEO Gary Monroe.
