Kamoon people--everybody get together

Kamoon has released Version 2.5 of its software suite, which is designed to facilitate collaboration, match inquiries to the most appropriate person and track information to enable process measurement and management.

The company says its products enable organizations to address business interactions that it describes as lower in volume but higher in value--complex, non-repetitive communications that require human involvement. The form of these business interactions can range from asynchronous messaging to sophisticated, structured workflow involving links, attachments and other supporting content.

Following are some of the capabilities in Version 2.5:

  • The software is implemented in Java 2 Enterprise Edition.

  • The API mechanisms and UI layer can be run on any major operating system.

  • Users can customize the workflow in 2.5 in order to create a large number of interaction scenarios, resulting in a client-driven business model;

  • Providers can customize interfaces used for constructing correspondence and interactions between requestors and experts.

  • requests can be routed to experts based on a specific or multiple characteristics included in their profiles;

  • Experts can forward requests to other experts in an extended network for review before they are reserved or transfer reserved requests in whole or in part to other experts for handling.

  • A general open API enables organizations to integrate the Kamoon solution into their existing IT infrastructure.
