KMWorld to Publish Rheinner Guide Document Management Guide Series

The popular series of "document-management-made-understandable" booklets authored by well-known and authoritative Rheinner Group (Hingham, MA), a research, consulting and training firm, will now be published and distributed by

KMWorld (Camden, ME) magazine. Guidebooks for the 1998 copyright series are currently being updated by authors and Rheinner Group principals, Raimund Wasner and Donna Amrhein, and new guides are being sponsored.

The Applied Technologies Group (ATG, Natick, MA) no longer has rights to publish Rheinner Guides, according to Rheinner Group president Wasner. "The publishing arrangement with KMWorld provides our clients and guide sponsors with far greater promotion and distribution of this important educational content than was previously possible," said Rheinner president Raimund Wasner. In the past, the guides were principally distributed at three key events - Xplor (Torrance, CA), AIIM (Silver Spring, MD) and KMExpo - and on the Internet. "The new arrangement with KMWorld," said Wasner, "will result in more than doubling the effective distribution of the booklets by increasing the number of events at which the guides will be distributed, by advertising in KMWorld and on the KMWorld website. Most importantly, we will be inserting the guides into targeted selects from KMWorld's 90,000-plus subscribers."

"We're excited to be working with the Rheinner Group, to provide such high quality educational materials," said Knowledge Asset Media's president Bruce Taylor. "This highly regarded Guide series adds yet another dimension to KAM's value-chain leadership in providing integrated marketing and information-providing services in the fast-emerging knowledge-management space."

Drawing on the Rheinner Group's consulting and education experience, the Rheinner Guides take advanced concepts in document management technology and simplify them in order to help generate demand and accelerate the planning and buying of systems and services.
