Informed command decisions

Visible Decisions has announced that its In3D visualization product will be put to use as part of the Command Post of the Future.

While details of the system are not being released, Visible Decisions technology and the United States Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency are working together to increase the speed and quality of command decisions.

An example use for the visualization tool, which combines data, 3D graphics and interaction to help users understand and react to large amounts of data, would be input information and real time updates to better coordinate combine air, sea and land forces.

"We are looking forward to working with DARPA on this challenging project,"said Dave Shuping, regional sales manager, federal systems for Visible Decisions. "As part of this multi-year $1.35 million agreement, Visible Decisions will address both command center and battlefield systems.
