InfoImage chooses Semio
InfoImage and Semio have formed an OEM alliance that will enable information knowledge map taxonomies in the InfoImage “freedom” portal. Infoimage states the addition of Semio's Tagger technology to portal software will give organizations faster, more intuitive access to information.
The addition of Semio's key concept extraction technology to is said to enhance freedom's Peripheral Vision feature, enabling portal users to find results when searching for information about any resource: people, organizations, structured and/or unstructured data. Peripheral Vision provides the user with related information resources tied to the portal's contents without having to create a complex query against dozens of data sources.
