IMC recognizes Isracard excellence

Isracard, the Israeli franchise of Mastercard, has been given an Award of Excellence at the recent IMC

conference held in Dusseldorf, Germany.

Nominated by the forms processing software vendor Top Image Systems (TIS, Ramat Gan, Israel), IMC recognized Isracard for a solution that automatically reads and processes credit card data. The forms processing system automated a manual data entry process, eliminated a backlog and allowed the company to reduce personnel by 50%, while improving customer service.

In addition to the TIS software, the Isracard solution consists of Digital Equipment (Maynard, MA, http://www.digital.com) servers; a Novell (Provo, UT, http://www.novell.com) network; two high-speed Kodak (Rochester, NY, http://www.kodak.com) scanners; six processing stations; 16 data completion stations for exception processing; an archiving station for long term storage on optical disc and 25 online retrieval stations for immediate access to archived data.

According to TIS, IMC based the selection on expertise in installing high-volume automated forms processing system.
