ICG Wins Giga Excellence Award

ICG Consulting (Phoenix) has been awarded a Giga Excellence Award for its accounts payable installation at Kraft Foods. The award was presented Tuesday at the Business Process & Knowledge Management Conference

in Orlando. The system, based on FileNet (Costa Mesa, CA) software, has resulted in reduced A/P transactions (37%) and increased productivity (30%) for each A/P processor. Kraft expects to save $2 million annually by the year 2000. The system proves that "there is a lot of mileage yet to be gained by reengineering and automating the accounts payable function," said Maurice Rodriguez, ICG senior partner and head of reengineering. "Savings and productivity gains drop right to the bottom line."
