Hewlett-Packard GM named to FileNet board

FileNet has named Hewlett-Packard general manager Carolyn Ticknor to its board of directors.

Since 1995 Ticknor has been VP and GM of HP's LaserJet Solutions Group, with worldwide management responsibility for the company's multi-billion dollar laser printer, mopier and scanner business. She is also one of the 50 most powerful women in business, according to a recent Fortune magazine poll.

Ticknor's appointment adds "world-class large company leadership experience in printing, capture and network connectivity and management," according to FileNet chairman Ted Smith.
