GaSonics to Publish with Enigma and PC Docs Software

GaSonics International, a manufacturer of processing systems for semiconductor wafer fabrication, has selected Enigma (Boston) and PC Docs (Burlington, MA) to provide integrated publishing solutions. GaSonics is the world's leading supplier of single wafer downstream photoresist removal systems, and has a strong market position in the single-wafer 200mm market. GaSonics will use Enigma's Insight into DOCS Open to disseminate technical documentation about its processing equipment to its customers and technicians. Technical documentation will be managed within a DOCS Open environment and published in various electronic formats by the Insight product. A four-step wizard process will allow users to turn the documents into an electronic publication. "We will use the product to streamline the technical document production process, using its compound document capabilities to store and automatically update embedded elements such as quotients, diagrams and multi-media," said GaSonics International technical services manager Francis Ngai. "The technical documentation for our semiconductor fabrication systems plays a major role in reducing maintenance costs and improving cycle times," said GaSonics GM Avner Shelem. "With Insight Into DOCS Open, we can provide higher quality technical documentation to our customers in a more timely and cost-effective manner."
