Exploit any search engine

Copernic has released Version 1.5 of its Meta software, which is said to allow users to capture the search functionality of any search engine, site search tool or specialized database and make it readily accessible at any time via a toolbar. Copernic Meta 1.5 is a timesaving tool for users who frequently perform searches.

The process of adding a custom search engine is straightforward. Users simply enter the keyword "addengine" into the search engine they want to integrate into Copernic Meta. Then, the software will automatically generate the search engine definition. Once done, users can query the new search engine directly from the Copernic Meta toolbar without having to ever return to the search engine home page.

Copernic Meta 1.5, which is fully integrated into the Windows taskbar and the Internet Explorer browser, works with Windows 98, ME, NT, 2000 and XP, and can be downloaded free here.
