Exabyte offers DLT library storage option

The addition of Quantum (Milpitas, CA,

http://www.quantum.com) DLT drives to the Exabyte (Boulder, CO, http://www.exabyte.com) tape library creates the first DLT library that Exabyte has offered. The Exabyte 18D library (starting at $12,000) gives new storage options for departmental workgroups using midrange application servers.

The library features one DLT tape drive and space for eight data cartridges, and capacities of 320 GBs for the 18D-4000 and 560 GBs for the 18D-7000.
