Enhancing search scope

Quintura has released the latest version of its visual search software, Quintura Search 1.5, which allows a user and/or Web publisher to create a search "scope" (several queries with a common topic).

In addition to the ability to save and share scopes, features of the new version include:

• improved "search clouds" (visual maps of tags or hints) related to search,

• search engines and popular Web sites included in the search engine menu,

• an option that displays the history of a user's search queries and search projects,

• an option to download the search scopes from Quintura's Web site,

• enhanced tools to create and operate scopes,

• improved removal of unwanted search links or Web sites from the results list, and

• a new favorites feature that enables saving favorite results.
