Enabling e-learning

Eedo Knowledgeware, which offers software for real-time learning and knowledge systems, has released Eedo Enable, which the company describes as a search and retrieval tool that allows employees to search and consume the knowledge they need to effectively and efficiently do their jobs. Enable indexes repositories and personal hard drives and harvests metadata and stores it in a centralized repository. Employees can then do federated searches of corporate, external and personal repositories.

Eedo says Enable is designed to provide for easier retrieval of all documents across the enterprise, adding that it facilitates the reuse of existing materials and provides for faster discovery and retrieval, and reduces dependence on a content gatekeeper.
