DynCorp and Provenance Join Forces for DoD Deals

DynCorp (Reston, VA) subsidiary DynSolutions and Provenance Systems (Arlington, VA) have formed an alliance to provide records management solutions for the Department of Defense (DoD). The two companies will combine DynSolutions' Knowledgeflow CIMS (Correspondence & Issues Management System) with Provenance's ForeMost records management application. The combined system will be targeted at federal agencies to help them comply with tougher government electronic records management standards and regulations, and to help them automate business processes. Provenance's ForeMost is the first records management product to be certified with the DoD's electronic records management standard. The alliance "is very important to both companies not only in the DoD market, but for other government and commercial markets," said DynSolutions executive VP Jim Myers.
