DocuCorp Files for IPO

DocuCorp (Dallas) and Safeguard Scientifics

, the NYSE listed strategic information systems company, have jointly announced that DocuCorp has filed for an IPO of approximately 6.4 million shares. The offering will be only by means of a prospectus, subject to the effectiveness of the registration statement. Up to 35 days after issuance, Safeguard shareholders will be able to purchase one share of DocuCorp for every five shares of Safeguard common stock owned. The offering will commence in the first quarter of this year, for an expected price of $5 per share.
