Distributed scanning gets a boost from Input Software

Input Software has upgraded its InputAccel capture software, with an emphasis on distributed scanning. With InputAccel Version 2.2 users can transfer document batches between different locations at any point in the capture process (e.g., overnight). Input also improved its support for color applications like Kodak's 3590C Digital Science Color Scanner and Paravision's PageGenie color OCR module. Other features include heightened reporting capabilities, improved setup and configuration and a simpler user interface.

InputAccel Version 2.2 is a free upgrade to current users; for new customers a base package (server plus export module) starts at around $5,500
