DIIME/97: Document management & workflow products to be evaluated by Doculabs

The best electronic document management and workflow systems available in the marketplace today will be analyzed and reviewed by Doculabs (Chicago) at the Document Image and Information Management (DIIME) show. These product analyses will be presented as part of the Industry Solutions and Technology Theater being sponsored by Doculabs.

The Doculabs theater will provide an objective review of the latest vertical market applications and development tools from exhibiting vendors and developers. According to Tom Loeb, Doculabs' VP marketing and program development, this venue provides DIIME/97 attendees with an opportunity to gain product data on all the leading products in intensive one-hour sessions.

The Technology Theater will provide a comparison and analyses of the latest product releases in a variety of categories, including workflow, scanning/data entry, document management, network web/enabled software, imaging, storage systems and COLD. More specifically, the Technology Theater will offer:
an overview of the marketplace
an in-depth review of the best and brightest products
major points to consider when deploying the technology under review
the business implications of adaptations of technology.

Vendors are expected to make short presentations on their products while Doculabs experts will review and critique the products. The sessions close with the audience participating in an in-depth question and answer segment.

"Our goal is to provide industry end-users from around the country with unbiased appraisals of the technologies they will see at DIIME in a theater setting away from the buzz of the show floor," Loeb emphasized.
