DA Consulting Announces SAP Installations

DA Consulting Group (Houston) has announced the implementation of one SAP

site, and the completion of another. Lockheed Martin Vought Systems (Dallas) will utilize computer-based training, video awareness programs and train-the-trainer courses as well as an on-line help system with its SAP installation. At Hewlett-Packard (Palo Alto, CA), a sixteen-month SAP installation has been completed, transferring the company's paper-based performance support system to an online system. "They were able to lead the process and meet our goals with minimal involvement from our management," said HP training manager Sue Oliveira. HP is now tracking to its initial objectives of increased customer satisfaction, reduced response time, reduced inventory and cost of order fulfillment, and reduced non-value-added time from the sales staff. The HP installation "is certainly a success story," said DACG COO Patrick Newton.
