Comspec bridges InConcert and Documentum workflow solutions

Comspec (Salt Lake City, UT,

http://www.comspeccorp.com) announced it will provide the IC/DMS Extension Server(TM) a key component essential to the seamless integration of Documentum’s (Pleasanton, CA, http://www.documentum.com) and InConcert’s (Cambridge, MA, http://www.inconcert.com) document management andworkflow solutions. The product is scheduled for release in December 1997.

The IC/DMS Extension Server is the first product to provide an intelligent bridge between the two applications, combining through a single user interface Documentum’s Docbase document management document repository with the InConcert workflow automation application.

"Customers no longer have to make a choice between compound document management and complex, process-centric workflow," Jeremy Davis, president and chief executive officer of InConcert Inc. said. Added Comspec president Mike Slatter: "We believe this is a product Fortune 1000 companies with workflow or document management requirements must at least acknowledge."
