Compliance, completely

Built on FileNet's ECM platform and its P8 architecture, the Compliance Framework is said to be designed specifically to help enterprises and large corporations automate critical compliance processes related to content. It integrates solution suites and capabilities that are critical to compliance, including records management, forms management, content management and collaboration. Further, FileNet says, the Compliance Framework adds new capabilities to its content and business process management offerings, including a new records manager, which supports the entire life cycle of corporate records.

In addition, the Compliance Framework enables what FileNet calls "real-time compliance" through an event-driven architecture, which can immediately identify and initiate responses to material events. The company says real-time compliance allows organizations to define and execute automated event-driven tasks related to content, which will then be recognized and synced with content and processes managed by FileNet P8. This might include changes to other records, forms and content, updates of enterprise applications, activation of human reviews and approvals and other workflow changes.
