Citrix and CA sweeten relationship

Citrix Systems and Computer Associates have signed a deal that enables organizations to use Citrix NFuse software to more easily integrate Web-based and client-server applications with CA's CleverPath Enterprise Information Portal.

Citrix explains that NFuse is an application portal product that provides organizations with the ability to integrate and publish interactive client-server Windows and Unix applications to any Web portal instantly without any rewriting of the application's code. Working in conjunction with Citrix MetaFrame application server software, NFuse provides organizations with greater manageability and lower costs through centralized deployment and management, Citrix claims.

CA says CleverPath Portal provides employees, partners and customers with highly visual, personalized e-business “work spaces” that offer interaction with a full range of information resources. In combination with Citrix NFuse, CleverPath Portal enables users to access and integrate both Web-based and client-server enterprise applications through a simple browser interface.
