The Descartes Systems Group and Cap Gemini Ernst & Young have formed a global partnership to provide fulfillment solutions to a number of vertical markets, including high tech, telecommunications, consumer packaged goods, retail and automotive.

The two companies will pursue joint marketing, sales and operations activities to further spur the growth of Descartes’ Global Logistics Network and strengthen Cap Gemini Ernst & Young’s worldwide presence.

Clients will use Descartes’ DeliveryNet technology and Cap Gemini Ernst & Young's consulting services to build fulfillment networks that will enable them. connect their trading partners to a single network. The goal of the combined solution is to provide end-to-end visibility and an accelerated flow of goods throughout customers’ logistics networks.

DeliveryNet is part of Descartes’ Web-based Global Logistics Network, a network of shippers, receivers, carriers, logistics service providers, e-marketplaces, vertical portals and transportation exchanges. Cap Gemini Ernst & Young will provide companies with systems integration, implementation, project management and training for the Descartes technology.
