Broadvision and CTP join in

Cambridge Technology Partners (CTP, Cambridge, MA) and Broadvision (Redwood City, CA) have joined in a "top-tier" partnership agreement to help companies build and deploy Internet-based business applications. The deal stems from CTP's CoRad (Consumer-Oriented Rapid Application Development) approach to offering application development and electronic commerce, in which Broadvision's products have been used. Products to be included in the agreement include Broadvision's One-To-One Application System, One-To-One Commerce, One-To-One Financial, and One-To-One Knowledge Management. The new agreement will also include best practices harvesting, methodology development and training, as well as sales and marketing activities. The new partnership means that both companies "can meet and exceed our clients' goals, both in time-to-market and the use of personalization to create compelling electronic commerce and knowledge management solutions," said CTP executive VP Bill Seibel. Broadvision president and CEO Pehong Chen added that the two companies will be able to deliver "rapidly deployable, mission-critical Internet business applications to build profitable relationships with their entire extended enterprise."
