Bonding with Baan

SAP Portals, formerly TopTier Software, has struck a deal that calls for embedding of its technology within the iBaan Portal solution.

The move is designed to help power the new iBaan suite of Internet-enabled collaboration solutions, which are designed to support organizations in the manufacturing, logistics, service and engineering industries. The company reports its solutions facilitate the integration of complex processes as well as customer and partner collaboration. Baan is part of Invensys’ Software Systems Division.

The SAP Portals portfolio the Enterprise Information Portal, the Enterprise Collaboration Portal and the Enterprise Unification Portal, as well as includes business intelligence applications, content software and professional services.
