BancTec gets Blue Cross Blue Shield contract

) has been awarded a $1.5 million contract to provide Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida (BCBSFL) with an image-based, claims processing solution for the government programs and private business divisions. The PagePro line of scanners replaces the current data capture system and makes possible a move to a PC data entry network that uses image display technologies. BCBSFL's ultimate goal is to implement online archival and retrieval capabilities.
