AnswerLogic offers enterprise CRM software

AnswerLogic has released AE1 Version 1.1, Enterprise Edition, software designed to use online content to automate customer interaction. Customers in both pre- and post-sales environments are said to find the information they need without having to resort to more traditional, expensive and time-consuming support channels such as e-mail, chat or call centers. The software is now deployable as an enterprise site license as well as a hosted service.

The company says the new release extends AnswerLogic's AE1 answer engine by providing automated tools for configuration, administration, content acquisition, preferred answer generation for FAQs and workflow. Logging and reporting capabilities allow corporations to gain insight into what their customers are seeking online and identify content deficiencies to enable continuous improvement, AnswerLogic reports.

The AE1 answer engine currently runs on Windows NT; a Unix version is planned for future release.
