Altris wins contract from chemical and pharmaceutical group
Altris Software (San Diego, CA, http://www.altris.com) has been selected to provide document management solutions for an unnamed major chemical and pharmaceutical group. Altris will initially install its WISDOM Internet document management solution and the CAD-Connect information distribution system in the group's engineering control department. Future expansion to all aspects of plant operations is expected; ultimately, Altris claims, the system will control 2 million documents in an ISO9000-compliant environment. "This will truly be an enterprise-wide document management system," said Altris president and CEO Jay Tanna.
