AMS Unveils New Data Entry Software

American Management Systems (Fairfax, VA) has unveiled a new version of its QuickStart for Data Entry (QSDE) claims processing software. QSDE Version 3.0 uses imaging, OCR/ICR, workflow and a translator component to extract and edit data from paper-based healthcare and dental forms. The new version includes tools for monitoring claims inventory, workflow, operator performance statistics, system performance, security and other metrics. A new forms definition utility simplifies the incorporation of new forms into the product. Users of the new version will be able to leverage OCR/ICR technology as well as integrate with other sources of claims capture like outsourcing, Internet, and commercial or private EDI," according to AMS senior principal Rajeev Puri. QSDE Version 3.0 runs on the 32 bit Windows 95/NT Operating Systems and is based on object-oriented technology.
