A model collaborator

Designed for modeling teams building an organization's enterprise architecture using Ptech’s Enterprise FrameWork solution, the company’s new TeamWork software allows modelers to work independently in sessions and integrate their work into a master knowledgebase for the entire team.

Ptech says TeamWork's collaborative modeling capabilities minimize overhead required to coordinate team efforts on complex projects, and help ensure that work done by each modeler is fully integrated into the master knowledgebase. The company further explains that TeamWork allows multiple modelers to be synchronized while working concurrently on related architectural components.

The offering includes innovative interactive conflict resolution features, including merging model elements and diagram integration, which give modelers a graphical and interactive interface and full control over how work is integrated into the larger knowledgebase. TeamWork also provides the ability for controlling security, by locking at the diagram level, to enforce division of work and prevent undesirable conflicts. TeamWork supports work done either remotely offline or onsite, further increasing team and individual productivity levels.
