A middleware marriage

Creative Science Systems (CSS) and Osaka Gas Information System Research Institute (OGIS-RI) have joined forces to develop a new services oriented architecture solution, BizZyme. The companies report the new offering allows users to create graphical designs of business process logic, which, in turn, can be automatically translated into fully executable Web-services-based deployed business processes.

OGIS-RI contributed XGrotto (an enhanced registry for Web services that runs under the Tomcat/Apache platform), and CSS provided NetZyme, which is a platform-independent, scalable, enterprise-grade integration middleware that supports C/C++ connectivity, enables pervasive computing with mobile wireless Internet devices and can be used to design and manage any .Net application, the company claims.
