Quickstart mobile collaboration from Accellion
Accellion has launched kiteworks Team Starter, which is said to help bridge the gap between IT teams and users by providing a mobile solution that is easy to use while ensuring data security, according to the company.
Designed with a mobile-first architecture, Team Starter provide a seamless user experience across all devices, from smartphone to tablet to laptop to desktop, says Accellion. Accellion highlights Team Starter features such as kiteworks Move Tray, which streamlines the way people share files via mobile devices, as well as an Activity Stream that lets users quickly see which files have been shared, edited or downloaded.
The company further calls attention to an integrated set of tools for creating, editing and annotating Microsoft Office documents on mobile devices, as well as features for file-centric collaboration and the assignment and management of file-based tasks. Team Starter also includes a simple administrative dashboard that lets team leaders add up to 15 users. Additionally, the new offering also comes pre-configured with Accellion’s secure encryption and remote wipe capabilities.
